Dr. Pejman Behrouzi, DC Chiropractor
Functional Medicine

Meet Dr. Behrouzi, a chiropractor/functional medicine practitioner who uses the 3 body systems approach to help his patients achieve optimal health and wellness. Dr. Behrouzi’s approach is based on the understanding that the neuroendocrine, gastrointestinal (GI), and detoxification systems all play a critical role in the body’s overall function and well-being.

Dr. Behrouzi’s approach begins with a thorough assessment of his patient’s health history, including any chronic conditions, environmental exposures, and lifestyle factors. He uses this information to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses any imbalances or dysfunction in the neuroendocrine, GI, and detoxification systems. Each treatment protocol is tailored to the individual to reduce inflammation, insulin resistance, catabolic physiology and oxidative stress.

When it comes to the endocrine system, Dr. Behrouzi understands the vital role that hormones play in regulating the body’s functions, from metabolism to mood. He uses specialized testing to identify any hormone imbalances and then develops a treatment plan that may include dietary changes, supplements, and lifestyle modifications to support healthy hormone production.

The GI system is another critical focus for Dr. Behrouzi, as he recognizes the importance of a healthy gut for overall health. He uses advanced testing to assess gut function and identify any imbalances or underlying conditions, such as leaky gut syndrome, pathogens, or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Dr. Behrouzi then uses a combination of dietary changes, supplements, and probiotics to help restore balance to the gut microbiome and support optimal digestive function.

Finally, Dr. Behrouzi also focuses on the detoxification system, which is responsible for eliminating toxins and other harmful substances from the body. He understands the importance of supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes and uses a combination of dietary changes, supplements, and other modalities to help support optimal liver and kidney function and promote effective toxin elimination.

Through his 3 body systems approach, Dr. Behrouzi has helped countless patients achieve optimal health and wellness. His holistic approach to healthcare focuses on treating the root cause of health issues rather than just addressing symptoms, leading to long-term improvements in his patients’ health and well-being.
